HARVEST EAST END 2012 will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, located at The Hampton Classic Horse Show grounds at 240 Snake Hollow Road in Bridgehampton. This gracious charity fundraiser celebrates the wine region at the East End of Long Island, and is organized by Merliance and Long Island Wine Council. Net proceeds benefit three important regional charities–East End Hospice, Group for the East End and the Peconic Land Trust. HARVEST includes the following component events:

Fall for Long Island: The Festival Tasting
6-9 p.m.; $125 per person until August 11; $150 after August 11 and at the door
Join local winemakers for current releases and barrel samples of their not-yet-released wines. The Festival Tasting also features the flavors of the region’s farms, fishermen, cheesemakers and other food artisans in dishes made and served by top local chefs. Bask in the bounty of Long Island in this walk-around tasting of wine and food. Live music by the Steve Watson Trio generously provided by Hotel Indigo East End.

Vin-IP Experience
Private entrance 5-6 p.m.; $250 per person or $2,500 per table of 8
Buy individual tickets or reserve tables of 8 in our gracious, elevated VIP space. There, you’ll gain a glorious view of (and place to relax during) the Festival Tasting, an hour of private time to meet winemakers and chefs and winemakers, a sparkling wine reception, special sweets at your table, and a handsome wine tote provided by Whole Foods Market. In addition, VIPs will enjoy up-front event parking and exclusive access to the Brown Harris Stevens Library Lounge, where older vintages and special selections of wine will be served.

10-Mile Dinners
Throughout September
Organized by and directly benefiting each of our charity beneficiaries, six elegant winemaker dinners will be held at private homes and gardens throughout the height of harvest season in September. These unforgettable, ultra-local meals will feature Merliance-member wineries and top regional chefs.
