HARVEST EAST END 2012 will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, co-located with The Hampton Classic Horse Show at 240 Snake Hollow Rd. in Bridgehampton. This gracious charity fundraiser celebrates the wine region at the East End of Long Island, and is organized by the Long Island Merlot Alliance and Long Island Wine Council. Net proceeds benefit three important regional charities–East End Hospice, Group for the East End and the Peconic Land Trust. Be a part of this annual event and harvest the world-class wine and local flavors of one of the world’s most exciting, emerging viticultural and culinary destinations!

HARVEST includes the following component events:

Fall for Long Island: The Festival Tasting
6-9 p.m.; $125 per person until August 11; $150 after August 11 and at the door
Join local winemakers for current releases and barrel samples of their not-yet-released wines. The Festival Tasting also features the flavors of the region’s farms, fishermen, cheesemakers and other food artisans in dishes made and served by top local chefs. Bask in the bounty of Long Island in this walk-around tasting of wine and food. Take home a treasure by way of our luxury experience raffle!

Vin-IP Experience
5-6 p.m.; $250 per person or $2,500 per table of 10
Elevated VIP tables of 10 will provide not only a glorious view of (and place to relax during) the Festival Tasting, but also an hour of private time with chefs and winemakers.

10-Mile Dinners
On or about September 29
Organized by each of our charity beneficiaries, six elegant winemaker dinners will be held at private homes and gardens at a date TBD  in late September, timed to coincide with the full harvest moon. These unforgettable, ultra-local meals will feature the wineries of the Long Island Merlot Alliance and top regional chefs.
