It’s a particular perk of attending this wine-focused event. Don’t miss your chance to taste the future at HARVEST!
What the Winemakers Are Saying:
“Weather-wise, here on Long Island, it doesn’t get much better than 2010. We had a mild, not-too-wet spring followed by a long, hot summer—ideal conditions for fully ripe grapes with high sugar concentration. For fruit-forward wines with Long Island’s signature food-friendly acidity and low alcohol, 2010 was our best vintage yet.” –Roman Roth, Wölffer Estate Vineyard and The Grapes of Roth
“The reds, the whites, the still wines and sparkling—2010’s conditions were just right for any and every kind of wine we make on Long Island. The 2010 vintage is one people will be talking about for years to come.” –David Page, Shinn Estate Vineyards
“2010 was the vintage of the century for Long Island. Our wines from this phenomenal vintage will make collectors and wine lovers sit up and take notice. This is the vintage that says, ‘Long Island has arrived.’” –Russell McCall, McCall Wines
Tickets to the Festival Tasting are $125; entry is included in the ticket price for the Harvest Moon Gala, starting at $275. For tickets and more information, visit www.harvesteastend.com.
