HARVEST 2012 will be held Saturday, August 25, co-located with The Hampton Classic Horse Show, 240 Snake Hollow Rd. in Bridgehampton. This venerable East End event, which runs August 26-September 2, is now in its 37th year and is one of the largest equestrian events on the East Coast.The East End of Long Island is home to one of the world’s most exciting wine-producing regions. Here, age-old growing techniques are combined with state-of-the-art technology to produce a range of world-class varietal wines and blends.

n a little over quarter of a century the Long Island wine industry has grown from one small vineyard to 3,000 acres of vines and more than 40 wineries whose wines earn praise from major food and wine publications and accolades from international competitions. As the awards continue to accumulate, Long Island wines are increasingly sought after in fine restaurants and wine shops, and in collectors’ cellars from coast to coast.
